Born in the foothills of the Wasatch range in Salt Lake City, Utah, Skimo Co is dedicated to finding, testing, and servicing quality ski mountaineering products from around the world.  We want to enable skiers to escape the overcrowding at environmentally unfriendly ski resorts and enjoy the mountains in their natural state.  More and more people are realizing that waiting in lift lines to fight over quickly skied-out runs is not worth $50 to $100 or more a day.  As any backcountry convert will attest, the best ski turns are the ones you earn.
